If Ibiza remained outside the tourist plans until the 70’s, Formentera continued unchanged almost until the 80’s. The people of Formentera, hard temper hearth as its ground, soon learned to appreciate the wealth of their coasts and since there they has wisely managed well the protection of one of their most valuable resources. Despite the modernity that surrounds them, local people handle with care to retain the genuineness of their landscapes.
